Brad Sparling
Head Coach
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Brad Sparling as the new Head Coach for the Boy's Golf Team. Coach Sparling brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to the program.
Before joining Dublin Jerome, Coach Sparling had an illustrious coaching career at the collegiate level, including tenures at Duke University and Ohio State University. During his time at Duke, he played an integral role in the team's success, contributing to two NCAA Championship victories. Coach Sparling is also well known for his expertise in nurturing talent, having coached numerous All-Americans throughout his career.
Further highlighting his exceptional coaching skills, Coach Sparling has also been instrumental in the development of young athletes at the high school level. He has worked with 17 individual Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) State High School Championship winners.
Upon his appointment, Coach Sparling expressed his enthusiasm and vision for the future of the Jerome Golf Program:

With a focus on having fun and being positive and supportive to the guys. We have a talented group and I’m looking forward to helping them compete for state championships.”

Ethan Tracy
Varsity B Coach
Head Coach Brad Sparling is proud to announce the addition of Ethan Tracy as the new Varsity B coach at Jerome. “Coach Carlisle and I are extremely excited to have Ethan join our coaching staff. He is an outstanding player and an even better person and he is genuinely interested in giving back to the game.”
Ethan replaces Andy Habayeb, who resigned recently from his position at Jerome to pursue other opportunities." Coach Andy’, as he was known by our players, was very well-liked and will be missed. We are sincerely appreciative of his efforts over the years to help grow our program and make a difference in the lives of the young men on our team."
Coach Tracy attended Hilliard Darby High School and finished 2nd in the 2007 OHSAA State Championship. He graduated from Arkansas where he was ALL SEC, and an Honorable Mention All-American on his way to helping Arkansas finish 2nd in the NCAA Championship in 2008. Ethan won the Western Amateur in 2011 and then turned professional in 2012. He’s played on the Canadian Tour, PGA Tour Latin America, the Web.com Tour, and on the PGA Tour from 2017-18. He’s won four professional events and is now a firefighter in Columbus. He and his wife have two young kids.

Chris Carlisle
JV Coach
Chris Carlisle brings a wealth of coaching experience to the JV program at Jerome.
Coach Carlisle is the former Head Golf Coach at Johnstown-Monroe High School where he coached for 17 years. He was named District Coach of the Year 5 times and won the D3 State Championship in 2006. He was also the Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Otterbein University for 21 years and the former Basketball Coach at Dublin Jerome. Now retired, Coach Carlisle is eager to make a difference in the lives of the players in the JV program.
