       DUBLIN JEROME WINS 7TH STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WITH RECORD SETTING PERFORMANCE
A beautiful weekend in Columbus, Ohio only got more enjoyable when the Dublin Jerome Men's Golf Team won their 7th Division 1 Men's State Championship at The Ohio State University Golf Club. The Celts made history on Day 1 by shooting a team score of 295, the lowest single day team score on the Scarlet course ever in the D1 State Championships. This incredible score gave the Celts a 13-stroke after Day 1. On Day 2, Jerome was paired with Olentangy Liberty and Akron Green. Olentangy Liberty made things very interesting heading into the last couple of holes until Blake Solomon chipped in for birdie on the Par-3, 17th hole, securing the victory for the Celtics. Jerome ended up winning the State Championship by 9-strokes, shooting a total team score of 607 (295-312) for the two days which is also a State Tournament record.

Individual scores for the Celtics included: Blake Solomon (71-76) which earned him Medalist Runner-Up and 1st team All-Ohio honors. Jackson Chandler (72-78) which earned him 2nd team All-Ohio honors. Mason Wagner (75-78) Davis Root (77-80) and Ethan Snyder (79-89).
